Canidates set for vote

In Whitehall, there is no one named “unopposed” on the ballot.

In every race for the 2009 General Election on Tuesday, Nov. 3, every seat up for grabs in the town of Whitehall has at least two people running for the position, starting at the top administrator’s job.

 

 

 


Students prepare for Junior Miss Pagent

As participants in the 2009 Whitehall Junior Miss Scholarship Program joined with their “Little Sisters” from the fifth grade in a night of pizza and fun, all were preparing for the 48th annual program, set for Saturday, Nov. 7, at 6:30 p.m. in the Whitehall Junior/Senior High School auditorium.

Police continue to investigate a series of thefts from vehicles that took place in the early morning hours of Sunday in the village.

Granville Police Chief Ernie Bassett Jr. said at least 26 vehicles were entered by a thief or thieves, according to complaints already reported.
