The Whitehall School Board has set the tax rate for the 2009-10 school year.The collection of school taxes will begin on Tuesday, Sept. 1, and continue through Nov. 6, with the board dividing $4,244,153 between each of the five towns that it serves. The school spending plan was approved by voters in May.
