SUNSHINE – AAAAAAAHHHHH.

If you only have a moment or two use it to get outside today and enjoy some of this sunshine. Just walking across the parking lot to get something out of the car is a cathartic exercise.

Spring is finally here and it seems like it’s for good. I for one can’t wait. I’m feeling a little burned by old man winter after the only time my snowshoes saw snow was when some blew into the car when I was cleaning it off to drive to work.

What else?

I’ve noticed the ‘Loopers’ are out walking again.

Nice to see.

It always reminds me of Granville waking up from that long winter’s nap when people get out and start walking.

Remember, those new benches donated by

Telescope Casual Furniture

are now set out at intervals around the loop – very nice of those folks to do that.

Benches can be found:

…and there are several others I can’t think of – come on blog fans post some replies and let everyone know where they are.

a blog by any other name

I’d like to take the time and mention by name the second person ever to respond to this blog: Pat Wesner.

Pat posted some kind comments about the passing of Rodger Hurley. Welcome to the forum here, tell a friend. Tell a lot of them – it’s lonely in here. LOL.

There really is no time limit for such comments and I welcome any other legitimate comments; it seems the only thing that draws more SPAM than an e-mail account in a blog post.

In between sports this week and looking forward to getting the previews out. My vague sense of things are competitive teams on the diamond, despite graduation losses. Tennis has put up good teams and this year should be no different, although who knows where the varsity players come from with no modified program; a difficult thing to create in a cash-strapped time such as this, no doubt.

Track could be the dark horse team this spring. Coming off of an indoor season competing against many bigger schools with success I have to think they’ll fare well in the Wasaren track scramble.
